Who may apply?

We are looking for 40 women with a story to tell. You must be over 40 years old and either work, live, or volunteer in Collin County, Texas.

We invite you to share your personal and professional accomplishments, stories of love & loss, and the “real moments” that re-shape us as we reach age 40, 50, 60 and beyond.

This project is right for you if your experiences, leadership, and accomplishments would help others in their personal or professional lives. We want to see women who mentor and champion women take their moment in the spotlight and allow their unique stories to inspire others.

What does participating involve?

Upon acceptance of your application, our team will contact you to begin the process. We will meet via Zoom call, get to know you virtually, and discuss the details with you.

Your participation in the 2024 project includes a luxury photoshoot experience, a magazine feature to share your story, and a private portrait reveal to select your official ‘Collin County 40 Over 40’ portrait. But this is just the beginning…

We invite our Collin County community, the 40 participants, and their guests to the Grand Opening of the portrait exhibit featuring a live portrait unveiling & celebration to take place in Fall 2024. Together, we inspire, uplift and empower!

Participants agree to have their names and images used in both social and print media, including a special issue of the Gold Frame magazine that will feature all 40 women and their stories in print and online.
